Giza Pyramids - Sakkara - Memphis (57 km)

After breakfast, we will visit the Giza Pyramids, where we will be able to tour inside. After that, we will see the Sphinx. Then, we will make our way to the Saqqara step pyramid, followed by the Museum of Imhotep. After lunch, we will see the Statue of Ramses II. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel in Cairo.

Egyptian Museum

Today, we will visit the Egyptian Museum to study artifacts from Ancient Egypt. Then, we will visit the Hanging Church and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

This mosque can be found at the very summit of the citadel of Cairo. Built under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, it was the largest mosque built in the first half of the 19th century.

Cairo - Luxor (503 km)

In the morning we will fly to Luxor to board on the ultra-deluxe Nile cruise. Then we will visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. After that, we will return to the cruise for lunch and to enjoy the remainder of the day at our own leisure.

West Bank - Luxor

Today, we will visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings on the west bank of Luxor. We will also stop by the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the cruise for lunch.

This valley is named because during a period of about 500 years, several Egyptian pharaohs were buried here. It is one of the most significant Egyptian archaeological sites.

Colossi of Memnon

These two massive stone statues near Luxor have stood for nearly 3,400 years, marking the entrance to the ancient Theban necropolis. Both statues depict the pharaoh Amenhotep III and are made of quartzite sandstone.

Nile Cruise: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples (179 km)

Our cruise will sail to Edfu after passing the lock of Esna. Then, we will visit a well-preserved temple to the god Horas and the Temple of Kom Ombo. We will also visit the Crocodile Museum before continuing with our cruise.

In the morning, we will visit the Temple of Isis on Philea. Then, we will visit the Aswan High Dam before returning to the cruise for lunch and to relax onboard until dinner and a belly dance show.

Then we will walk through the Oval Plaza, visit the Roman theater and Byzantine churches, walk along the Cardo, and pass by the Nymphaeum. After that we will head to Ajloun before returning to Amman.
